In the mid-70’s he moved to Austin and immediately became a force to influence the shape of Austin music. His music has been recorded, arranged and performed by many bands playing Country, Blues, Jazz, Tejano, Brazilian, E. European and Caribbean music. In addition he is a talented composer who has written, arranged and produced numerous film scores. His musical tastes range from the most traditional to the most contemporary. Over the past 35 years he has played with some of the great Jazz and Blues artists including Joe Turner, Marcia Ball, Albert Collins, Albert King, Kent Dykes, Stevie Vaughn, Roswell Rudd, Jimmy Giuffre, Karl Berger, and Jay Rozen. Larry Eisenberg - A seasoned Bassist and Vocalist, Larry provides the rock-solid foundation in the band. He has played with some of the best Motown bands as well as R&B greats such as James Cotton, Hubert Sumlin, Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley. In addition to his facilite on the bass Larry is also an accomplished keyboardist. Russell Scanlon - Russell is by far one of the most versatile guitarists in Austin. In addition to being one of the most sought after players in town he is a music teacher at Austin Community College. He has had a hand in the development of some of the best Worldbeat bands in Austin and has worked extensively in the recording studio. Ernie Durawa - Drummer and Percussionist of BAM-JAZZ, Ernie is well known in Austin for his work with Texas talent Freddie Fender, Doug Sahm, and Augie Meyers as a member of the Texas Tornados. He is the ultimate musician’s drummer and plays what any band leader could possibly want. Ernie is part of the driving force that put Austin on the map as the “Live Music Capitol of the World”.
